A little late in the day, perhaps, but I don't really feel I can let it pass without some comment, seeing as I am now a published Star Wars writer too.

Crisis on Coruscant and Night of the Necromancer climbing the charts

As of this morning, Crisis on Coruscant is at #93 in the Star Wars chart on Amazon, while Night of the Necromancer (which has only been out a matter of days) is at #71 in Amazon's Children's Science Fiction and Fantasy list. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Crisis on Coruscant - another good review

My 9 year old son loved this book. It contains lots of interactive stories. You can decide your own destiny by choosing from options at the end of each chapter. The story can be augmented by going to the website... I think this would be a good book for a reluctant reader as it combines "computer gaming" with traditional book reading...

Crisis on Coruscant - a new adventure with every read!

Crisis on Coruscant has been out for a couple of weeks now and the reviews are starting to come in. There's a very pleasing one (that covers Sue Behrent's Dooku's Secret Army as well) by Scott Weller of STAR WARS AFICIONADO.

You can read it for yourself here - just scroll down to the bottom of the page. The part which made me smile was this: 'Newcomer to the range Jonathan Green proves equally adept in this new universe of interactive storytelling; his tale just as strong and enjoyable to partake in.'

I may be new to this particular series but at the time of writing Crisis on Coruscant it was my tenth gamebook. (My eleventh, Night of the Necromancer, is out this April.)

Crisis on Coruscant

It's been out for two weeks already, but I only got my hands on a copy of Crisis on Coruscant for the first time today... and very pleased with it I am too, if I may be so bold as to say so. It feels suitably chunky (considering it's a children's book) and the illustrations used throughout enhance the look of the thing no end.

Here's to 2010

Due to Blood Royal being delayed, I now have four new books coming out in 2010 - and that's just for starters!

First off I have Crisis on Coruscant, my Star Wars The Clone Wars Decide Your Destiny adventure gamebook, which will be released on 28 January.

Then in April there's Night of the Necromancer, my new Fighting Fantasy adventure gamebook (released on 1 April - no, this isn't an April Fool's joke!), followed by Blood Royal, the fifth Ulysses Quicksilver Pax Britannia steampunk adventure later the same month.

And then, after only a few short weeks, Dark Side, the next UQ PB adventure is due out on 16 June.

And that little lot only takes me up to the summer!

So, see you in 2010!

Crisis on Coruscant

My first Star Wars The Clone Wars Decide Your Destiny adventure gamebook Crisis on Coruscant is out in January 2010 and you can already pre-order it here.

Crisis on Coruscant - you heard it here first

Since the title recently went up on Amazon, I can now reveal that I have just finished writing a children's gamebook set within the Star Wars Clone Wars universe. It's called Crisis on Coruscant and casts the reader in the role of a padawan learner in the service of Jedi Master Shaak Ti.

Without giving too much away, I can reveal that the adventure features clone troopers, Chancellor Palpatine, Senator Padme Amidala, dramatic airspeeder chases through the planet-city of Coruscant, bounty hunters, a visit to Tatooine and a guest appearance by Jabba the Hutt himself.

Crisis on Coruscant will be published in January 2010 alongside another title, Dooku's Secret Army, and to celebrate I have set up a Star Wars page on my Amazon Associates Store to satisfy all your Jedi (or Sith) related needs.
