Death is not the end... YOU are a knightly warrior, returning to your ancestral castle home having been away for a number of years fighting a crusade against the forces of darkness in the Mauristatian principality of Bathoria. You are just within sight of home when you are struck down by a band of murderers.
Driven by the need to know why you have been killed, and on whose orders, you rise again as a ghost. This is where your adventure begins, as you set out to solve the mystery of your own murder. All that follows occurs during the course of one night...

Better get your Boots-of-Springheeled-Jack on, Jon! The premise of this book sounds really great, and we are already talking about it over on the forums. But steady on, we haven't had time to appreciate Stormslayer yet! No wonder your poor wife gets all confused when you talk about your "new book"! :)
Have no fear, I got 44 paragraphs down today (in rough). Not bad for starters, even if I do say so myself.
Ah, Bathoria, excellent! Great news.
Don't get carried away just yet. The blurb says you have "been away for a number of years fighting a crusade against the forces of darkness in the Mauristatian principality of Bathoria" so you're not in Bathoria now.
But have no fear, I have plans for Bathoria. Plans that, should they come to fruition, would unite Howl of the Werewolf, Night of the Necromancer and possibly even Vault of the Vampire...
Excellent - I can't wait to see how that pans out! And given how little we currently know about Bathoria, any little snippet for now is great!

Don't get too carried away Jon, don't forget about Revenge of the Vampire! We wouldn't want any continuity ruined, because you know we'll spot it over at the forums :D Hehe!
